Air-Freedom is developing an air filtration disruptive technology for applications in Commercial/Institutional HVAC systems, Air Handling Units, Gas Turbines, Transportation and Electronic Equipment Cooling Systems. The proprietary filter combines a matrix of inserts with a special filter media structure. This unique, proprietary design results in a very slow pressure drop build-up during filter lifetime and a much superior dust capacity as compared to existing air filters.
“A full series of testing of various materials and composite constructions based on a DOE (design of experiment) that we jointly developed. Single post-filter layer material was tested individually and compared with double post-filter results and to composite results using a single layer combined with Air Freedom’s technology. The results of this testing show a marked advantage in using the Air Freedom technology. Specifically, in the three carefully orchestrated series of tests, we found improvement from 200% to 400% in dust holding capacity. There was little impact on arrestance.“
